OneJobs provides AI-powered job-search tools, including job matching, ATS analysis, CV tailoring, cover letter generation, application tracking, interview preparation, and related services.
We handle personal data in accordance with the data-protection laws applicable in the places where we make OneJobs available, including the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO) in Hong Kong and the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) in Singapore and in Taiwan (the Personal Data Protection Act, 個人資料保護法). Where local law grants you stronger rights, those rights apply.
By using OneJobs, you acknowledge that we process your personal data as described in this Privacy Policy.

6. AI Processing
OneJobs uses AI technology to provide features such as job-fit scoring, ATS analysis, CV rewriting, cover letter drafting, interview preparation, and answer suggestions.
AI processing may involve your CV, career profile, job descriptions, saved jobs, and user instructions.
AI outputs may contain errors and should be reviewed before use.
OneJobs is designed to help you present your real experience more clearly. It is not intended to fabricate qualifications, experience, achievements, education, or other information.
7. Service Providers and Transfers
We may share personal data with service providers that help us operate OneJobs. These may include:
- Cloud hosting providers
- Database providers
- AI model providers
- Analytics providers
- Email delivery providers
- Customer support tools
- Payment processors

- Document generation services
These providers may process data in Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, or other jurisdictions. Where personal data is transferred across borders, we take reasonable steps for it to remain protected consistently with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
We do not sell user CVs or job-search data.
We do not share your CV, profile, application status, generated documents, or interview materials with employers or recruiters unless you explicitly choose to do so or where required by law.
8. Direct Marketing
We will only send marketing emails, newsletters, product updates, offers, or career content if you have opted in or where permitted by applicable law.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
Service emails, such as account, security, billing, or product-function messages, may still be sent even if you opt out of marketing emails.
9. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate OneJobs, remember preferences, understand usage, improve product performance, and, where enabled, support marketing.
Cookie categories may include essential cookies, analytics cookies, marketing cookies, and preference cookies.
Optional analytics or marketing cookies should not load unless accepted by the user.
Users can manage cookie preferences through the cookie banner or privacy settings.
10. Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

- Account data: while the account is active
- Uploaded CVs: while the account is active or until deleted by user
- Generated CVs and cover letters: while saved by user or until deleted

- Security logs: retained for a limited period for safety and fraud prevention
11. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized or accidental access, processing, erasure, loss, or use.
Security measures may include access controls, encryption, logging, backups, vendor controls, and monitoring.
No online service can guarantee absolute security.
12. User Rights
Subject to applicable data-protection law — including the PDPO in Hong Kong and the PDPA in Singapore and Taiwan — users may request:

- Deletion of account data
- Deletion of uploaded CVs
- Deletion of generated documents

13. Account Deletion
Users may request account deletion.
When an account is deleted, OneJobs should delete or anonymize personal data where practical, subject to legal, security, accounting, backup, or legitimate business retention requirements.
14. Children
OneJobs is not intended for children below the age required by applicable law to use online services independently.
If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete the data where required.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If changes are material, users may be asked to acknowledge the updated version before continuing to use OneJobs.
The latest version will be available on the OneJobs website or app.
16. Browser Extension, Share Import, and Job Page Import
OneJobs offers a browser extension and other tools that let you import a job from an external web page into your OneJobs account.
These tools are user-initiated. They only act on a page when you choose to import it — for example, when you click the OneJobs extension icon, paste a job link, or share a page to OneJobs.
What we collect when you import a job
When you import a job from an external page, we may collect:
- The page URL and, if available, the canonical URL
- The page title and source domain
- Text you have selected on the page, if any
- Visible job content on the page
- Structured job metadata present on the page (for example schema.org JobPosting data, Open Graph tags, or the meta description)
- Detected job details such as title, company, location, employment type, salary (where shown), job description, and apply link
- The import timestamp and import method
How we use it
We use this information to create a private saved job in your OneJobs account and to support job matching, ATS analysis, CV tailoring, cover letters, interview preparation, and application tracking. Imported jobs are private to your account by default and are not made public or shared with employers unless you explicitly choose to share them.
What we do not collect
The browser extension does not collect your general browsing history, the content of your other tabs, your passwords, your authentication cookies, your private messages, or page content unrelated to the job you choose to import. The extension requests only the minimum browser permissions needed to read the page you are importing after you click it, and it does not run in the background.
We keep an internal audit record of import actions for security and abuse prevention. This record does not include the job description text or any text you selected, and the source URL is stored only in hashed form.
Third-party listings
Imported jobs come from third-party sources that OneJobs does not control. We cannot guarantee that an imported listing is current, accurate, available, or legitimate, and you remain responsible for verifying details with the original source before applying. You can report a problem with an imported listing at any time.
